• Clean the appliance under the tap. Never immerse the shaver in water.
• Regular cleaning guarantees better shaving results.
• The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the appliance is to rinse the shaving unit (with the shaving heads) and the hair chamber under a hot tap every time you have used the appliance.
• Water may leak from the socket at the bottom of the appliance when you rinse it. This is normal and not dangerous.

• Move the shaving heads over the skin, making both straight and circular movements.
• Shaving on a dry face gives the best results.
• Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to this Philips system.
• To prevent damage, put the protection cap on the shaving unit after use.
• Pop up trimmer is only suitable for trimming your moustache and sideburns. If you want to trim your hair or beard, we advise you to buy a hair clipper or beard trimmer.

• It takes 1 hour to fully charge the 8200 Series shaver. A fully charged shaver has a shaving time of up to 70 minutes, which is enough for approx. 45 mins of charging.
• The battery-low indication warns you some time before the batteries are completely exhausted. The shaving time left after the the battery-low indication is shown should be regarded as backup capacity. The amount of backup capacity depends on the condition of the batteries, the ambient temperature and whether the general battery maintenance precautions are being observed.

• Use pop-up trimmer for sideburns and moustache
• Open the trimmer by pushing the slide downwards, the trimmer can be activated while the motor is running.

• You should replace the shaving heads every two years for optimal shaving results.
• Remove the adapter from the wall socket and disconnect the small plug from the shaver or take the shaver from the charger of Jet Clean System
• Turn the lock anticlockwise and remove the retaining frame.
• Remove the shaving heads and place new ones in the shaving unit.
• Put the retaining frame back into the shaving unit and turn the lock clockwise. Make sure that the projections of the shaving heads fit exactly into the recesses.
• Close the shaving unit.

• Put the appliance plug in the shaver HQ8260.
• Put the powerplug in the wall socket.
• Press the on/off button once to switch on the shaver. The power-on lights go on to indicate that the motor is running.
• Move the shaving heads quickly over your skin,making both straight and circular movements.
• Shaving on a dry face gives the best results.
• Your skin may need 2 or 3 weeks to get accustomed to the Philips shaving system.
• Switch the shaver off with on/off button.
• Put the protection cap on the shaver HQ8260 every time you have used it, to prevent damage to the shaving heads.
